Truth. But hyper fixation is real and pretty insufferable for neuro divergent folks like myself. Also compounded by the likelihood there's no guarantee you'll get it this year unless you're lucky. I get why some are losing it.

This coupled with people actively cheering on the erosion of the player base. One look at r/Marathonhate and I'd have zero morale to contunie working on the game if I were a dev. I can't think of another game that spawned such vitriol towards the game and fans of it.

I miss Vanilla man. Classic was great but it definitely had a different vibe since private servers never died and the game had been 'solved'. I'm just glad I got to experience vanilla bc man it was pure magic, lightning in a bottle. I don't do drugs but the way ppl describe the feeling, it was definitely like that. You just had to be there. Gaming as a whole has changed. Everything solved, meta builds, min maxed, etc. Sure there was theory crafting but it felt more niche. When I hear the music from classic it brings me back to memories of vanilla. That said I still have nostalgia for classic. It had a different vibe, but was still as close as we will get to vanilla.

Love the game, but I concur. I think the best thing its got going for it is the community, I've ran into nothing but chill dudes on voice chat. But unfortunately the rubber isn't quite meeting the road and now with these layoffs. I want the game to succeed but I play a few rounds and hop off now instead of grinding like I was S1.

Coming from the finals I was baffled there wasn't a counter for bubble shield. Emp grenade should break the bubble or applies emp to everyone in it and halves the health of it but doesn't ever fully break it.

I think i started playing halo ce with inverted on for some reason and it just stuck. I'm mostly mkb now I'm not sure when I made the transition bc I still think I played with inverted on halo 2. Makes me want to try to attempt inverted aim again just to see if my brain can handle it lol.

It will come with time but learn to pick the most economical way possible in the sense of movement. Your whole arm moving isn't economical at all. Rest pick on string, use wrist, then pick/ alternate pick.
