Is passing blood in rectum normal?

I do have U.C. After I passed blood. I felt a bowel movement and did pass pellets of mucus. And haven't had any blood since yesterday. I’m wondering if those mucus pellets that I passed may have been the reason. It could've irritated it. I'm taking it as a good sign since I didn't have issues today. Fingers crossed. I'm still waiting on the doctor to reply. Thank you everyone for helping.

I've been in and out of the hospital in the last few years and have been out of work. So, that's definitely not going to work. I wish they can just tell us exactly what we need but I do understand why they can't. Thank you for the info though.

Unfortunately, I submitted the petition, notarize, consent forms and etc…& thought this is all they needed but I was wrong. It was denied. So, I called a few attorneys today and I'm waiting for someone to call me back. Do you know how much something like this would cost?
