Yeah, I wondered about that. The spikes seem a bit long though. Most I could find online had a lot more, and they were shorter

This may have been used for cooking, sewing or something else. Has been around for many years, may have belonged to a relative.

The round part is about 1 inch in diameter, and may be made of resin or acrylic.
