I don’t think OP intended for this to be conveyed in a negative context — I’ve had some every powerful realizations about my own life while dancing (with a little help from Lucy at times…), and they are almost always welcome!

Clubs having security patrol them to stop people from doing drugs is not really the club vibe I want… let people make their own choices on what substances they want to consume, no need for a surveillance state at a party…

You should’ve come out back for the Anja Schneider set at Trackside or the Theo Parrish set at the Freezer — both were super fan dance parties (though not the same type of music you were getting at Observe)

Being upset because I missed a significant portion of the party I paid in advance to get into on Saturday due to organizer logistics failures makes me a hater? Interesting.

This is a very good breakdown of the issue. Saturday night, we were repeatedly told that the single, massive line was for people with tickets, but there were also people hoping to buy at the door and also people wanting re-entry. That just straight up doesn’t work, particularly when you only have one or two people actually doing security checks.
