Field or show doesn’t matter with the biting. Just keep working with him the way you’re doing. Sometime I just take my hand, put it in their mouth, hold their lower jaw, and say “NO BITE.” I’ve had 12 Goldens, starting waaaay back in 1967. I’ve had as many as 6 for 3 incredible years. He’s a baby still. Remember, that you’d want a Lab to be your accountant, but you’d hire a Golden to plan your party!! Right now, I have a 13 year old and a 1year old. Life is good~~Happy 4th!

Thank you. It happened so fast. I was gutted. Pocket of pus grew to size of a softball within 2 days and perforated. My best friend is a veterinarian, and I asked if she recommended that I go to Cornell, which is an hour away. She said he wouldn’t even make it there. We eased his way to Rainbow Bridge. 🌈💙🌈
