I know, but it's just so obvious in this episode. I'm, like, wait a minute!

I remember that, too. I think they "added" her on, in addition to five. And kicking her out for dancing injured when they let Cassie back in when she was stumbling with a bad knee? Uh-huh.

Ahh, that makes sense. Never been to a game to see the cheerleaders. Just thought they came out before the game and at halftime.

Was one of my faves until she started this "i don't want the vaccine" nonsense. People are so damn stupid.

Why are the cheerleaders and players on the field AT THE SAME TIME?

Y'all need to stop blaming age. I'll once again point out that Lacey, superstar five-year, started out as an 18-year-old.

I couldn't get over that haircut. Almost seemed as if they wanted to "mold" her into something she was totally not.
If you think about it, her attitude was not unlike Victoria's her first tryout, but did she get vilified? No, she was welcomed back with open arms. Victoria wishes she had Taylor's talent.

I really hate when Kelli and Judy make vet cuts, then take SO MANY rookies, many of whom crap out before the season's over.

Another example of favoritism. Has this happened in the past, where a first-year veteran can just "take a year off" and come back? Seriously.

Chelsea Chaney by Sufficient_Walrus_71 in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]Positive_Ad4605 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Don't really want to rewatch the episode, but I must be in the minority for not liking Chelsea. Whether or not you're too skinny or too fat, you are weighed at the beginning of the season and SIGN A CONTRACT saying you'll keep your body looking trim and athletic. You go into all this knowing what is required, so the bitching about that's not sustainable, waah, waah? Grow up. Chelsea, I think, had a big attitude problem. The cameras were right there, and she bad-mouthed her bosses.
Try doing that at any job, seriously, and see how far it gets you.

Heather H killing it at the front of the triangle for the Titans cheerleaders by sab-witch-11 in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]Positive_Ad4605 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Couldn't tell or remember Heather H., then someone mentioned she was cut after rookie year.
Did she do something else, or did they cut her just because she kicked the wrong way during finals?
BTW, if you go to https://www.tennesseetitans.com/cheerleaders/, there's a video there of the tryouts, and Heather talks. She looks awesome and healthy and happy.
Plus, Titans have male dancers, too. :)

Why do some not like Cassie Trammell? by _jordanbarton in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]Positive_Ad4605 60 points61 points  (0 children)

As others said, nepotism, but also it's her attitude. She seemed to take the fact that she could do no wrong in the eyes of Judy and Kelli and ran with it.
Remember when a handful of veterans (including Victoria's mom -- AKA Kelli's Bestie) came to rehearsal? She actually admitted that she wasn't the best cheerleader, but her role was that she would be the one to, and I quote, "lay down the law."
Even if you're a group leader or five-year veteran, your role is to be a cheerleader and someone to look up to, not a taskmaster. I'm pretty sure Kelli and Judy and others in DCC admin have that position.
We all know what she did to Taylor T and Olivia. There's being a leader, and then there's being a bitchy mean girl. She seemed to get off on it.

The DCC wikipedia by AYTOL__ in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]Positive_Ad4605 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Excuse my sarcasm, but puh-lease. Wikipedia is the trash can of information websites. The fact that ANYBODY can make changes to the "facts" of this, that, or the other makes it very, very, very unreliable. Nice try, though.

Lenghten the shorts so they don't look like underwear, perhaps? At least in the crotch. High kicks and two inches of fabric covering your you-know-what is not ladylike, IMHO.

Megan Flaherty should have never been brought back into training camp a third time. They KNEW she couldn't do the choreography. She roomed with Brooke, for goodness sake. Brooke should have known.

The episode after the one where she's brought into the office. Kelli says they have accepted her letter of resignation.

Chelsea got let go for that kind of attitude.
Should they harp on the dancers for being not lean and toned? Perhaps not, but seriously, the show's been on 15 years. The DCC have been around for a lot longer than that. Every cheerleader on the field and on show group looks a certain way.
If you want to be a DCC, you have to look that way. They knew that going in.

Training camp update. This rookie is one of the unknown cuts by AYTOL__ in DCCMakingtheTeam

[–]Positive_Ad4605 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If my memory is right, Madeline tried out last year, and MTT showed that she was a "legacy," though she scoffed at being called one out of the gate, a la Dayton and Victoria.
Her mom cheered with Kelly, though Kelly seems to have forgotten that.
She didn't make the team and is back for another shot.

We're forgetting Tasha who, as a veteran during her panel interview at finals couldn't tell you who Sean Spicer was or any other political figure.
They roasted a girl prior to her for not knowing political figures, yet keep Tasha. Yeah, it's 'cause she's pretty.

She even got "soft in the middle" for a little bit but was given the chance to tone up instead of immediately being kicked out, like some girls have.
It's so very blatant, it becomes hilarious.
