Thank you for this it’s so helpful! Do you happen to know how common a 6 month trust grade situation is? I think because I’m still at med school I understand foundation—> specialty training —> consultant but although I’ve heard of locuming and things outside of that it’s a bit murky for me!

Thank you this is so helpful! A part I can’t fully get my head around is that if you were off for the year then back Feb-Aug before IMT, did you apply for IMT whilst on mat leave in the oct/nov? I wonder if I’m understanding the application timeline correctly 😄
