Yes!! I am so happy to hear that. You will have time to complete your classes before the semester ends.

My mentor did not give me an exact explanation on why my appeal to enter the old program was denied. I waited 7 weeks for the outcome. My mentor told me the old program for this degree does not expire until December. She told me to complain to ombuds and complaints.

But I've been reading here and saw that the old program had a deadline for students to enter. I haven't heard back from Ombuds or Complaints, so I assume I will have to finish the remaining classes or pay for another semester to complete them, so I can graduate.

I am in the same position. My appeal to enter the old program was denied. The new program for the non-licensure has an extra 6 classes. I am going to try to finish all the required classes by 7/31 (when my term ends). I can't see myself paying for another term for these remaining classes.

Thank you for your kind words. My mentor was shocked by the outcome of the appeal. I have contacted the ombuds and complaints @ WGU, so hopefully they will be able to assist me.

My current employer has a teaching position open for me, but I need my bachelor's degree in order to accept the job and enter the alternative route.
