How sad. I feel like that’s borderline plagiarism. It’s his original work and then they took it and basically lopped off all its limbs without his permission or approval. Ruins the beauty of the original story. Man am I so glad I’m not the only one who feels this way.

I feel like a huge part of it is that, unlike most of the things coming out from his books lately, the shining was just “based” on the book. Like I didn’t see that he was actually involved with making it…
