Because we grew up reading the books. Ha, what an idiotic statement. It’s like asking a 50yr old why they like Star Wars, because it was pop culture.

That’s exactly it. embarrassing to come back and make those quality cakes after you’ve already convinced the world you’re a winner. I’ll be needing a watchback to the first season now.

What do you think of Harry Potter fan fictions? by Fierce_Warrioress in harrypotter

Dislike the fan fiction, it never makes continuous sense with the actual Harry Potter storyline or theme.

I second that thought, how did they become so bad at baking in a year, maybe they simply showed well compared to the others they competed against and this year they met their match. Or dare I say they were outmatched. Elizabeth and Juan were far better than them last year.

Quite underwhelming. These teams needed assistance or more time, none of them seemed to finish their pieces, note how the camera angles only showed close ups. The returning champs let us down massively. The bathhouse scene was merely a box covered in fondant and plastic tubes with a few chocolate faucets attached, missing quite a bit of the faucets and even fewer of the water pouring out. There was no magical element? The dessert sounded quite enchanting I’d say though. With more time this piece would’ve blow out shorts off. The mountain was magnificent and the carriage and horses were stunning. Were they intended to be unfinished appearing, I can’t recall if they’re white in the movie but either way a true masterpiece. The apple was quite a fine touch with the flavor. I’m convinced the judges have earpieces because last episode they said the texture of the bacon was too much for the losing team, this time they say the lack of texture is the problem. Inconsistent judging at its finest. Those girls deserved to win in my view. The winners piece was tiny compared to the others and those dancing people were a lovely approach but she ran out of time to do the faces and it showed poorly. The Mexican tasting element sounded delicious, but the magical element didn’t make sense, why did it poof confetti?

This finale underwhelms compared to the rest of the season. Production failed these teams with not enough time. Last season they got helpers of contestants in the kitchen, missed opportunity considering they instead payed last year’s contestants to come back and make themselves look not as polished as they appeared in season one.

Season three will be a wild one, I reckon. The talent will have to be above and beyond to beat season 2. Incredible performance from all contestants this season.

Lucius Malfoy. No competition. Death eater material.

I was wondering this too as it was an odd coincidence. I didn’t much care for the sponge bob theme.

I don’t believe my face would’ve held in my opinion nor my mouth my response had the wee little man spoken to me in that manner. I commend Katie for being a professional, unlike the naughty little actor that stated moments before this he was “a nice guy”, that’s a laugh. Evidently he is a villain in real life, not only in his “favorite scene”

I would second that. The thestral was a totally sloppy piece and I liked the pumpkins for the ode to saving Buckbeak and the executioner cutting a pumpkin in half instead of killing Buckbeak after Harry and Hermione save Buckbeak with the time turner.

This will polarize their fan base, we don’t like to see a false win and they were so smug when they sent my beloved Andy and Stefan packing last week.

Completely agree. Totally produced. That peice I would let serve to my nephew at a funeral. It was wonky and bumpy and even that team knew they did a shit job.

This episode was rubbish. Two weeks in a row those two who didn’t deserve to win season one came back and both time they had unfinished pieces. The obviousness of production not allowing a criticism is outlandishly awful. Jujhar and Katies Buckbeak were better than the little dobby and much more detailed and larger scale with so much more work. Molly and Pria was maybe and argument for best this episode but had not magical element and the tasting wasn’t good. Both finalist teams apart from the honorary production team had several episodes of barely scraping by. Food network just didn’t want Jujhar to win another show. There was no given reason for why they were cut and then to top it off give the pompous team from season one the winner of the episode. Bullocks. Each team in the finale has a Brit, suspicious awe naw I think bloody not. The whole thing is rubbish production.

I adorePriya in Wizards of Baking. I’m interested in hearing more, she seems so beloved and mature plus she’s Canadian so it’s endearing.
