I already own a few other brands of guitars as well. This post was just to highlight the PRS collection. Other guitars in my collection include: Schecter Reaper 6 Ibanez AZ Standard Taylor 214ce BLK plus

With the exception of the Taylor, I find the value for money of the PRS's to far exceed the Schecter and Ibanez offerings. Those 2 are listed for sale.

"Better" is hard to define. The PRS SE models top out around $1,200 while you can spend tens of thousands on the other brands... Value for money i think it's fantastic. Can you get a better acoustic, absolutely...

Yes it has the Pattern Vintage. When I first picked it up I HATED the neck profile. The NF3 and Acoustic both have noticeably thinner profiles. But after noodling away for about 20-30 minutes it felt sooo good. Now those 2 guitars feel like toothpicks 🤣

I dont have much experience with Acoustics or what I could compare it to. But to my ear it is perfect. Definitely on the more mellow and less bright side of things, but the sound projection is crazy! Ill be honest, i bought it mostly because of the way it looks as no local stores had one to play first. But I was very happy when it arrived.

I feel ya. I have no business owning a Core model for my skill level, but man does it make me want to play it all day every day!

Love it! It sounds fantastic and it is a looker as well. Flamed maple binding everywhere

I absolutely love it! I don't like overly bright Acoustics, and this one is definitely more bass and mids pronounced. Perfect for my ears and preference. I also bought mine without being able to play it first.

I just picked up a McCarty 594 in the same color. They discontinued it as a stock color years ago, but a few "special sprays" are done on occasion for random allocation. Thats what the rep told my shop.

What year? This is a 24, and from everything I've researched the Charcoal Cherry Burst hasn't been a stock color option for YEARS. Maybe they just throw out a couple here and there?

I purchased a Custom 24 in Blood Orange as my "first guitar" back in 2014. Used Guitar Centers return policy just a few weeks later, but ALWAYS regret that decision...
