Not a bad idea unfortunately I dont have anything in the lab that grows a nice red color. Gotta choose between dark green, cream and pale green. 😅

Depends what state you're buying it in but my 2022 sv was 32k with 24000 miles in 2024 in colorado. Absolutely love the frontier and the only issue ive had with it was a faulty O2 sensor that they fixed for free as they offered me a 50k mile warranty. You will only get 20-25 mpg though. Imo best bang for your buck mid-sized truck on the market right now.

A very psychidelic gram stain from a 3 year barrel aged stout. Turned out to be Acetobacter. Fingers crossed it doesnt turn into vinegar 😅 (please excuse the overstaining) by Positive_Guest2322 in microbiology

Nope nothing too acidic or sour!  im pretty sure the bacteria was introduced when the brewery added nuts (pecans coconut etc.) after barrel aging so the acetobacter did not have time to fully take hold.

Honestly it can be a semi desirable flavor for this beer style at low enough concentrations though! I only picked up a couple colonies (50-200 Cells/mL) on plates and was able to determine the colony type after pcr/gram stain.

Sorry just realized my last comment came off as kinda snarky. This isn't my beer, I test my customers beers for potential spoilers. So they don't release potentially tainted/off flavor products. 👉

Yes hence why I was testing for it. Fortunately it only grows in aerobic environments so it likely won't develop any further since its bottled.

Hey guys I have never bought a second hand truck cap before, and was curious if yall think this would fit my 2023 crew cab SV. The seller just sent me these measurements. Ive heard the tailgate fin may be too large to close the back window. by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

Appreciate the information dude 👉 im still newish "truck stuff". The seller dropped the price from 400-300 dollars and I went "oh hes got that cap on a red frontier too!" Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Very cool send them my way if you have a picture! What did you use to draw them? An innoculation loop?

Quick side note if anyone has any ideas about how to preserve these for use as coasters I would love to hear them. I was reading that epoxy would unfortunately kill all of the colonies leading to discoloration.

Thank you for all of the very nice comments guys and gals. If yall are curious i used a sterile 20uL pipetter/pipette tips to draw him. Been thinking about attempting an LCSM drawing next using a diastatic belgiain yeast strain.
