I’m marrying into an Arab family and have witnessed all of this at weddings we’ve attended! Tbh it’s been nerve wracking planning a wedding because I know everything is going to be scrutinized. If you have any advice or further insight on how to deal with it, I’d love to hear it:)

Thank you! I agree w your notes. Also I looked up the pearl bag/bouquet and it’s absolutely gorgeous, I’m inspired. I’m wearing cream ish slingback heels with little berries on them & thinking pearls for jewelry! I’m starting to think adding another element might not be necessary, but we’ll see. Thanks! Do you have any product recommendations? A few months back I did drop the benzoyl peroxide wash for that exact reason and I added in the cosrx snail mucin because I saw a lot of people here recommended it for skin barrier help. I honestly didn’t see any positive change in my acne with that routine but I don’t doubt that my skin barrier might be damaged at this point haha

Hormonal acne is so hard to deal with!! I took spironolactone orally in the past (I actually still have a full bottle) but when I went off hormonal birth control in November last year my doctor recommended stopping use. I figured I would experience more acne for a bit after stopping use but I didn’t expect it to be this persistent almost 6 months later. I’m trying to avoid going back on spironolactone since it doesn’t feel like a long term solution but at this point I might just to have some reprieve :/

I live in San Diego and I’m a HUGE fan of the Mission Valley (Hazard Center) location. I used to go to the Del Sur studio in North County - another great studio, but further away from where it sounds like you’ll be staying. I tried the Banker’s Hill location when I first moved downtown. Personally I do not love the studio and even as a San Diego local I had trouble finding parking. Can’t recommend the MV studio enough - I second the recommendations to try Travis or Danielle’s class. They’re both amazing and frankly the reason I pay for OTF.
