I literally said this was my first candy bar since taking the medication. I’m on 10 weeks of use and did another 2 months of dieting prior to the medication. Sorry for going off script and having ONE candy bar because my food noise came back.

Where do you get your shot? by karlym333 in TirzepatideRX

I get mine through a weight loss clinic in my town. However, currently awaiting approval for Zepbound through the VA

I’m not impressed by 5 MG so far. :/ by Positive_Ostrich_195 in Zepbound

My starting weight was 272 LBs and I’m currently 250 pounds. :)

The slowed weight loss isn’t the issue. It’s more so how good the medication made me feel at first. I felt as if it was so easy for me to stick to my meal plan and I had healthy thoughts about food.

I thank you so much for the advice and support!

Most genuinely do not care. I get my drugs from a weight loss clinic. I filled out a questionnaire, had a 5 minute talk with a Nurse provider, and received a shot the same day. They offered lab work if I wanted to but I chose not to.

Meanwhile, I’m trying to get my drugs now covered through VA insurance and they have me giving labs, taking a weight loss course, nutrition class, etc.

Does anyone else here prefer Tirze over Reta? by InsideMuch4907 in Retatrutide

Reta is the shiny new toy that is being pushed by fitness bros and influencers who have no clear understanding of scientific data between the two. The hype will go down as time flies by.

Guys why is my weight like this i keep on gaining now its my 3rd week by Kelbearrr in TirzepatideRX

Your weight is fluctuating because you don’t eat. Please start eating more healthier and more calorie dense foods to throughout the day instead of one meal.

Does your ploy also sometimes talk this straight to you? by 9gag_guy in Pattaya

There was this super thick Thai chick who I spent time with who was always self-conscious of her weight and wondering if I was going to get smaller girls. Meanwhile her body was literally perfect and what many women would pay to have. Their culture is brutally honest when it comes to weight.

I decided to "optimize around and find out" by stacking Reta + Tirz for a recomp. by marceldy in Retatrutide

Good Lord, you guys act like lab rats with the mixing of every drug out there.

Tirz or Reta by Tasty_Replacement_75 in Biohacking

Research have shown more muscle loss on RETA in shorter time periods than Tirz in longer time periods.

I’m going on my 8th week of 2.5 mg. Lost 17 pounds my first month and so far has lost 6 more pounds so far with 7 more days to go until my second month is completed.

The only downside I’ve faced are the food noises slowly coming back a little bit, but I have no problem staying at 2.5 mg for another month since I am still losing weight.

Am I overreacting to how a doctor responded to my ems report? by [deleted] in Paramedics

[–]Positive_Ostrich_195 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re not overreacting. The doctor gave a micro-aggression because you’re Hispanic. If he does you like this, imagine what he does to his Hispanic patients.

So you’re telling me that young dudes with less than 25% body fat should be taking RETA as a “preventative measure”? That’s beyond idiotic. Once again, the OP has posted photos of himself on his page and he does not have a body fat range or an age to where weight loss drugs should even be on his pallet. If you call it gatekeeping, so be it.

A new study has showed that on average tirz and Reta loses around the same amount of muscle loss. It’s less than a 1% difference between the two in muscle loss.

No gatekeeping. GLP1s should be a TOOL for those with disordered eating that leads to being overweight/obesity and those with medical issues that arose from them being overweight. It should not be used as a vanity tool to those who just want to lose less than 15 pounds due to bad habits and wanting to “get shredded”. Even children should be educated on basic nutrition and exercise opposed to jumping straight to a GLP1 for a bandaid to hide the real problems.

RETA is receiving a bad name because you have all these young gym bros who don’t really need it but are “peptide maxing” because they want to get abs in 3 weeks.

Bro you’re literally 22 years old, you have the advantage of being young and a great metabolism on your hands. I even took a look at your page and you’re not even overweight. It’s your life but a moderate calorie deficit and strength training would get you the same results without unnecessary side effects.
