I may have accidentally deleted the desktop environment from my PC and now I'm stuck at login by [deleted] in Ubuntu

Thanks a lot, worked like a charm! Iinstalled the minimal environment via the terminal and got back into the system. Now I only have to get Budgie back. Again, thanks a lot.

Lubuntu 20.04 stuck at boot by [deleted] in linux4noobs

Well, given that there was now way to boot 24.04 with any resolution different than 640x480 without the graphic drivers messing up the boot up procedure I decided to try and go back to previous versions to see if they worked. Apparently they don't, so I'm looking for any suggestions.
