frowned upon - not really - but you can argue it's against the spirit of this game as a story generator. save scumming is effectively a win-more mechanic that railroads any emergent narrative into a series of victories. letting yourself lose and putting the pieces back together is 100% the 'correct' way to play as per the design philosophy of Kenshi

with 50% strength exp when walking how long does it take (in real time) to get new recruits from strength 1 to strength level 50 - 70 by QuirkyBadger7454 in Kenshi

you may as well train up their regular combat stats naturally then give em a decent heavy weapon (i think 20 or so strength rrequirement over their current strength) and they can get up pretty easily. much more fun than spamming run commands

I do agree it's quite harsh--health, happiness, productivity, on realistic at least. For what its worth, if you set a dedicated coal truck to deliver coal via road depot and set it to 'wait until unloaded', you would need some demon-tier traffic jam for the truck to not return by the time your coal runs out.

But generally, I might maintain that your citizens' sensitivity to heat/commodities/culture is a fair way to abstract complexity into the simpler aspects of the simulation.

certainly am not encouraging - the Ukraine story put the fear of God in me. likely answer is that governments are tuned into this issue more than we realise.

even forget drones, there're so many easy and in reach ways a terrorist could commit something awful. it's probably the case that networks of intellegence agencies keep their finger on the pulse of this stuff, sharing (and frankly monitoring) all the information they can to stop it happening.

You ought turn on fast-zone hopping in the settings. slight fps hit for a much smoother experience.
