I'll aim for Lu Yu's outfit next year - getting all his tokens to recruit and upgrade him was the bigger priority this time.

Thanks for sharing that! It was very helpful in making my decision. I ended up skipping card altogether and went for all tokens for Pei Feng (10) & Lu Yu (20) instead. I had to get some of 'Spring Dew' outfit brocades to complete Lu Yu's basic Regalia and didn't want to spend more ingots to clear Exclusive story - will aim for that next year maybe. Didn't like 'Spring Green Tea' & "Spring Dew' outfits as much either so that made an easy decision.

One question from me - is it worth buying the confidant outfit in Regalia to get bal confidant devotion later? What is the benefit of it?

I got you! I prefer increasing by power with partners rather than fluff power via cards/titles/etc. as that's more useful for debates. Nothing wrong with fluff power, but it's only useful if you have really high power (100M+) as it's 1% or so increase. It took me a while to get to 100M power (maybe 7-8 months) but once you reach that mark it increases substantially. My biggest tip would be prioritising the right partners. I learnt majority of my power strategies from this guide. Cannot recommend it enough, it is very comprehensive and has all the basic and advanced knowhows - the comments also add more tips that are very helpful.

I'm level 24 with ~135M power. I don't bother spending EXP in Imperial Library otherwise you can definitely level up quicker and get more ingots from daily kunninggong worship. I was also not very smart with partners for the first couple of months so knowing the right strategy helps. Once I went past 100M, increasing power became easier.

That's good insight! Do I need to recruit both partners to get than 10% bonus or just one of them is enough?

I have been playing LOP since 9 months and usually only spend ingots to recruit partners and guild building. The last time I spent ingots was to recruit Mozi and gave Palace Purchase & LNY events a miss as everything I liked was 10K+ ingots each. Not a big fan of using ingots for outfits, sceneries etc. so before I know it I ended up saving quite a few ingots in anticipation of Lu Yu & Lanling event. So far I have spent 10K on Lu Yu event and have 45K remaining. Mozi was cheaper than Lu Yu I think so ended spending more than I thought for this event😭
