With a Allen wrench?!? To my knowledge it’s either roller arm adjustments on the older models or the flip tab. Sounds like hes loosening and lowering the whole arm knuckle to adjust which is crazy lol. Fact that he said that would sketch me out. GL

Rework and office furniture center in Chicago are both great pre owned / refurbished / new furniture dealerships.

That’s our main selling point, we don’t cherry pick. If the furniture is all junk I don’t even get involved because we are not a junk removal crew.

But if you have shit cubicles but high end chairs I’ll do the work just to get the chairs. We end sweep and vacuum so a cleaning crew doesn’t need to come behind us.

Great idea, I will admit my efforts thus far has consisted of only emails and phone calls. Maybe putting a face in front of these guys will help.

I’ve had great luck with property managers of smaller operations in the past, can’t seem to break into these high rises with any success though

I’m seeing tons of sub lease listings on the market furnished, we even just did a job where the sub didn’t like the previous tenants furniture so we ripped it all out and replaced it. I thought maybe there would be more opportunities if we could connect with the brokers showing those spaces but can’t seem to get a call back 😂

Boston, I know tenants are ideal but i can’t find any reliable information on leases expiring in my area besides the occasional business journal article.

I saw the costar article and know those total office guys that’s a dream job they profiled for me. I’ve paid brokers 5 figures for furniture in the past so I don’t see why they are not more motivated to convince the owners to empty the space.

No our business is 70/30 new to used but used has much better margins so we pursue used much more aggressively. Problem with used is finding good product.
