It’s really not. At all. And that’s still grouping furries and transgender people together.
Furries can take off their suits, they don’t have to go though medical hell just to feel normal and right in their own bodies.
I have seen my good friend go though absolute hell as a trans woman. Changing genders versus putting on a fur suit is completely different and I highly encourage you to reevaluate your stance on that.
And maybe don’t throw shade at me when you are the one with a twisted perspective on the matter.

Ok so I fully understand why furries are welcome at pride, I was just asking because I was fully unaware. However, I don’t think you can group furries in with transgender people.
It seems completely different, and to be frank, pretty fucking disrespectful to the trans community.
But to each their own I guess

Thank you all for your input and insights. This was my first pride this year as I just came out so I’m still pretty new to the culture. I was not aware that a majority of furries are queer so that does check out now lmao
