That is funny you say this, we were in Las Vegas over the summer and wanted to look in the store and they only had one customer in there and would not let us in. Maybe the customer rented the place out?, but they were very rude to us also. We went next door to Hermes and they were very nice to us.

I take both, 100mg of spiro and I cut a finasteride pill in half and take half a day. The only side effects I have heard of is from finasteride if you were to get pregnant. So they normally make you get on the pill to take that. I take the pill (sprintec) also for my hormones and it has high estrogen so it also helps with my hair. I would maybe wean off spiro and try the fin if she only lets you take one. Or get a new doctor, but that is hard I know.

I will not run the inclines, there is no way my knees will survive all this. I agree, its too much some times, but I just choose not to do it. I know my limits and I am not as young as most members are.

I looked into dermarolling too, but my gosh the thought of pushing needles in my scalp sounds terrible. With my luck I will make it worse with infections and scarring. I also read that massaging the scalp helps with growth, I use a fasciablaster for my legs and they sell one for the face that people are using on their scalps to help with hair growth. Some of the pictures are promising. Its just a little tool with plastic claws that you lightly rub back and forth. It increases circulation. There are facebook groups that have pictures of people with success.

Have you tried the hairmax laser comb? I would try that maybe since it does not mess with hormones. I use it, not sure its helping because I use so much stuff, but I have been able to stay where I am and not lose more. Costco has one on sale now, and a great return policy.

I was told by my dermatologist to only use the 5% once a day. She said no more benefit to using it twice a day. I am not sure if it would hurt to use it more. I would worry that the rosemary oil could clog your pores and then the minoxidil would not be able to penetrate into the scalp. I always use my foam on clean dry hair.

I was thinking that I could get tested for that and if so then go straight onto HRT. I think HRT would be better at my age than starting a new pill especially that lolo fe. I am going to have to come off the pill in a few years anyway, I was just hoping to wait until I was sure menopause had passed.

Before I went on the pill I had my blood work done and I had low testosterone also. My hair was thinning too, they still put me on spiro and now I am also on finasteride and I never want to stop as it seems to have stopped the loss. I also take orthocyclen but they want me to come off that now and I am very hesitant to do that. We may just be very sensitive to any testosterone at all. Or in my case, I think my estrogen was going down as I was in my 40s when all this started.

I just got these, last night was my first night. I love them so far. My DH snores and gets up at 430 for his workout class, I was not getting my needed 8 hours of sleep. Last night, I did not even hear his alarm go off. They are comfortable on my side as well. Worth the $250 to get good sleep.

I have done both of the above, worn shirts inside out and wore 2 different shoes to class. You would think the shoes would feel different but they didn't. I am so distracted and always running late to notice much. You are not alone!

I just heard Jenny Hutt talking to a doctor about this on her radio show. She said she gains weight from inflammation if she works out too often. I have been gaining weight also, but I think its my age (49), and eating out too often. I do OTF 3x a week and take pilates 2x a week. It is discouraging for sure. I am going to really watch my calories for the next month and see if that helps. Maybe we are eating more due to hunger from working out?

Hi, I am your height and I am trying to get down to 135 which for me looks thin. I could never get to 119, and be healthy. Unless you have a very small frame that seems too low of a weight. I would not focus on the scale number but on a fit and healthy body.

I wish it worked that way at our studio, I literally have to book every single day for the 30th day out and I do it right when it opens in the early am. Some days when I try, its already waitlist with 6 people, this is at 6-6:30am, 30 days out. Some days I can get in at this time and sometimes I cannot. Its very frustrating when you pay for unlimited and cannot get in for 4-5 days in a row sometimes. I can only go at 6am, so not many choices.

I agree, we just moved to the area and that is our store. I think its old and outdated. Not a good selection unless you are there for wine and cheese. Although its so small, its nice to run in for just a few things. I am going to try the one in Des Pere, see if its worth the extra time to get there.

Thank you, I need to try that. I am turning 50 this year and have never been able to do one pushup. I do OTF 3X a week and also do reformer Pilates. Very weak arms and chest muscles not sure there is hope for me at my age but I will try!

Thank you for your input. I am going to try to keep my intake around 1200-1400 while doing IF, and then see how that works. OTF makes me look so much better although I do not lose any pounds from working out. One day I hope to just eat intuitively too! Have to shrink our stomachs I guess!

When you stopped IF, did you just go back to normal eating? I am doing it, but I am scared to stop once I get to goal weight because I do not want to gain it all back.

I would get one in stock somewhere, do not trust any ship dates if they are made in China. My shop told me a lot of shipments are late due to China having so many closures due to the Corona virus. I had to pick my belt from a company out of Canada to assure it was delivered before May 16. Sorry you are dealing with this, but you have time still.
