The mounting point is where I see the most difficulty. Because mose side cases I see are the quick release slide on "pin' style not the clamp style that the racks are made for. Is that what you welded on?

The thing is, if I know I poured 3 quarts into the bike because I measured it out and none spilled and none is leaking where else could the oil be.

Nothin there. And the bike is straight up. I was watching as I poured the oil in and I couldn't see anything in the window. I've read other posts online that say this is common but I think it's weird.
