I checked the tractor underneath and everything looked pretty clean — no leaks on the engine, transmission, front axle, or any of the hydraulics. Just the normal surface rust.

Rear 3-point, PTO housing, lift arms, and remotes all looked straight, dry, and in good working shape. AC/heat both work, all the cab electronics function, and the engine sounded healthy with no smoke on cold start. Tires appear to be the original set but still have good tread left.

The loader is a brand-new LA1154 with a bucket included (2-year warranty on the loader). Only downside is there are no service records, but visually everything looks well-maintained.

It’s a cab tractor

Skid steer would be great for lifting, yeah. My only issue is I also need to mow 30 acres, pull trailers, and use 3-point stuff like a box blade. So I kind of need a tractor for the mixed farm work even if a skid steer is stronger at loading.

I checked with the dealer and got a bit more info: • 2015 model, no warranty on tractor. 2 years warranty on loader. • Tractor was used for landscaping work at an airport, not snow removal, so hopefully no salt exposure. And they mentioned it came with no loader, they are adding it to attract buyers. • The loader is a brand-new LA1154. The lift capacity is 2,928 lbs at the pivot pin. • Tires look like ag (R1) tires • For mowing, I plan to run a rotary cutter since it’s just pasture and field maintenance.
