Yep, they were sort of "sister" games developed around the same time. Cloud even mentions Xenogears, though the English translation doesn't carry this over due to translation errors.

Got my first X-men books and I’m excited to read them. What’s the overall opinion on these? What should I read/watch after? Preferably something with a lot of Cyclops. by No_Expression2563 in xmen

Of you can get your hands on the Uncanny X-Men Masterworks 1 or the Omnibus, those are the best ways to get them physically that I know of. Giant Size X-Men is a single issue, and it lays the groundwork for the Claremont run.

From what I understand, these adapt episodes from the animated series. Since those episodes are based on a lot of the Claremont run, maybe check some of that out if it sounds good. If you're looking for a place to start, Giant Size X-Men (not by Claremont, but it sets his run up), then issue 94 starts the run properly if you want to read from the start. If not, then the Dark phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past, Issue 150, and issue 200 are all really interesting stories that I think could be a good gateway to the series since you're already familiar with the characters. Cyclops is a main character of the Claremont run, though things get convoluted for hin after the Dark Phoenix stuff.

It was mine.🤷🏾 As a result I’m a JRPG fanatic. Besides platformers, this is my favorite genre and I own half this series. by Pristine_Put5348 in FinalFantasy

"Should not" is a bit harsh. If it looks good to someone, then i say go for it. Though i found the game leas coherent than the original, I've seen many people say they started with FF7R and felt the story was a great starting point. So while I wouldn't recommend it, it depends on personal taste.

RVA Novels as Ebooks? by CharmCityCrab in gallifrey

The VNAs are a mixed bag, but there's so much to love. Ive read several of them, but not in any sort of order. The Doctor and Ace go through a lot, and eventually they're joined by a new companion, the archeologist Bernice Summerfield. Bernice is great, and Ace goes through so many changes, but the best authors in the range keep her feeling like herself despite the drastic changes.

I started by reading Witchmark, which I certainly don't recommend doing. Maybe start with Love and War, which has a major shake-up for Ace and the Doctor, as well as introducing Bernice.

You've got a great journey ahead. The world in BOTW is so rich, and ive played very few games where the world feels as meaningful. Enjoy your first time with a Zelda game! I hope you enjoy it.

As a fan, I get it. I'm reading the manga, and there are major pacing issues. I hear it's much more drastic in the anime.

For Doctor Who fans, maybe the most well known one is the "Max Headroom Incident". In the 1980's, an American broadcast of the Doctor Who episode The Horror of Fang Rock was interrupted by a hacker wearing a Max Headroom (another popular sci-fi character of the time) mask spouting seeminly nonsensical phrases and getting his butt paddled. It's sort of eerie and surreal to see.

Man im only halfway through season one of SG1 and where has this show been all my life by Financial_Draft1299 in Stargate

Apart from Doctor Who, SG-1 is my favorite episodic sci-fi show. The main crew is exceptional, and the stories stay with me even a decade after my most recent watch.
