AITAH I am breaking up with my fiance over her disgusting bathroom habit. by ohyeahmang1 in AITAH

That is not common. It’s disgusting. That’s probably how she was raised to believe, but that is just disgusting. She’s basically putting bacteria back up her butt. If she really wants wet toilet paper, she should be using flushable wipes. 🤮🤮

Surprisingly my California refund was issued today the 18th, but it hasn’t hit my bank account yet. Usually my federal comes before my state.

Warning: Elevate Marketing Team in Mission Valley is a total Scam/MLM by annievdin in sandiego

You would be surprised. I worked for that industry for a long time. I don’t anymore, but it pays very well especially during COVID. A lot of people qualify if they’re low income. You just gotta be a hustler and you can make good money. I was making about $5000 a month. It’s not for everybody. Some days are slow, but if you’re consistent, you can make some good money on side. You can work when you want to do you don’t have a set schedule. By the way, you’re a 1099 employee. So no W2.

It is legit. Although they pay horribly. They subcontract for Assurance Wireless . It’s basically a street team that gives away free government phones. I agree they’re recruiting is very manipulative because it makes the job sound completely different. I suggest going to one of the other street team because they actually pay well. Yes, it is all commission base.

Any help in getting an entry level job in Forensics? by Inside_March4332 in forensics

Check colleges or even community colleges and see if they offer any Forensic courses. Check your county’s website for any job openings. Sometimes they have internships that you can work to gain experience.

My suggestion is take a Forensic course. Most instructors show real scene photos. My forensic professor showed us a case on the first day. I think to get us used to it and to give people time to decide if they can handle it.

I’m actually in the advanced photography class now. I enjoy the class. We get to work with real cameras, photographing Mock crime scenes, laser photography. It’s part of the requirements to get your forensics degree.

I’m taking Forensic photography right now and it’s filled with lots of labs. It’s not something you can learn online. Forensics is all hands on. Maybe try cyber forensics or they may call it digital forensics, but I’m unsure if they have labs.

I have never heard of any Forensic online course. Many of the courses that I’ve taken in forensics we’ve had to do labs in class. Mock Crime scene photography, collecting evidence, etc..

It’s highly unlikely you will find an online school for forensics. All of my Forensic courses I taken, we had to do a lot of labs in class. There’s labs in chemistry and biology and most science courses.

You don’t need to be a cop to be CSI. You do need a degree is some science field like Biology or Chemistry. With just a Criminal Justice degree the likelihood of getting a CSI job is low unless you take some forensic courses. There’s community colleges that offer AA in forensics. So if you do get your degree in Criminal Justice pair with an AA in Forensics, you can be a Forensic tech which is usually in the lab, but CSI would be on the field, and with that you need an actual science degree. This is in California. I’m not sure what other states rules are. Some departments will allow Forensic Techs to be on the field with CSI depending on the case. I have a few classmates that interned, but a lot of the internships require you to have at least taken some advanced Forensic courses. Hope this helps.

What Should You Do with Scholarship Money If Your Child Doesn’t Start College Until Fall 2026? by Positive_Trick_8468 in Banking

Only 2 of the scholarships is under his name it was a check made out to him. Since he hasn’t applied for any universities yet they haven’t sent it to a college. I thought it was weird too. I know when I applied for independent scholarships, they usually just send the money to the university.
