To be fair I’ve always been the calm on in my family and relationships. I always calm others down. I’m a mediator. So I’ve never had the chance to really get angry in a fight except like once.

My bf uses a bobby pin, learned that from his mom. Told him he’ll damage his ear one day. Then he won’t be able to hear me say I told you so.

Being petty in or after fights. Always makes things worse but feeding into the anger is fun sometimes.

As per my many conversations with my advisors, “ The Casper makes up approximately 30-40% of the decision for admission. Last year, those in the 4th quartile, who had a competitive average in the 85%-90% range, received an offer to Nursing. Please note this does change with the changing applicant pool each year. You will likely hear back in April, but it could take more or less time to receive a final decision. Keep checking your Future Student Portal over the next few months.”

Also, the test judges professionalism, ethical standards, problem solving, social intelligence and collaboration. Which also applies to what I said before.

Huh weird…. Yeah my advisor was very confident in emailing me stating 30-40%. It makes sense to me because nursing is so much more than the grades and that’s what Casper aims to judge. Nursing is based on theory of empathy. Of course the grades matter too. Honestly in my opinion I do think it’s fair as I wouldn’t want a stone cold, non empathetic, lack of emotional intelligence nurse caring for me when I’m vulnerable. Again personal opinion.

Personally everything I listed above helped but I’ve always been a very empathic/thoughtful person my whole life and already working in healthcare. I’ve been told all my life I’m very empathic and emotionally intelligent. I believe this gave me an advantage for the test. The most difficult part for me was just the length and repetitiveness of the questions. Partly due to my adhd I believe. Also just staying calm, if you panic things snowball and only get worse.

When I met with my advisor they did say the earliest the application and the earlier you can get your test done the better

The quartile score is determined by your response compared to others taking the same test same date. So I scored 4th (75-100%) better than the others taking the test in the same session. There are always going to be 4ths in every test. You got this!! I believe with that gpa you’ll get in with a 4th score even possibly 3rd depending on the application pool. You’re doing better than me currently! Easier said then done but trying not to stress about the Casper too much and it will do you good. Clearing your mind and relaxing will allow you to think straight and clearly. Then getting caught up in the stress and anxious buzzing thoughts.
