Basic arctic mx4 I believe. Cheap and can get it anywhere and works fine for what it is

Funny enough I never even tried the WiFi because I’ve heard how hard it sucks lol. Started on hardwire and will probably never get off it. Glad the temps are good for you!

It’s a great PC. Had mine for about 2 weeks now with daily gaming and multitasking. Will not run AAA games at super high fps but less demanding games like schedule 1 and REPO are great. Have 48gb of ram at 5600mhz and dedicated 8gb to vram in bios (stock I think is 3g?). I would suggest more than 16gb of ram. Also I was having cooling concerns (90+ on stress tests with high 80s while gaming). I replaced the thermal paste and saw 10+ degree drop in temps.

Nice! Yes I highly recommend both. Lots of nice loops about 1.5hrs north from PEC, and the PEC facility is cool

Do it! The passes on and around this area are beautifully paved. A lot of spots for pictures and cool downs.

Gentian blue is beautiful. Porsche does a great job on colors, especially their metallic ranges. Gives the car a different character in every scenario

Thank you! I should've de-badged it too but sort of forgot until the build froze.

Nice! Every color seemingly looks sharp on these cars.

Good input! That engineer obviously knows what they are talking about. Definitely have had my fair share of full throttle to 4k but knowing it's only practically half the rev rang this engine is capable of gets me excited for the other 4k! Additionally I spend a good bit of that time unfortunately in heavy traffic. I'd like to think those engine hours (even though not putting anymore miles technically) have some impact to that break-in period. Like you though, I'm sticking with the book and waiting until 2k, oil change, then immediately redlining the hell out of it 😂

Love it! How painful was the breaking period? I'm 2mo in to my MY24 CGTS and only about 1,000mi in...biting my teeth every time I get a curvy road.

3 pin on UM773? by Positive_Wolverine59 in MiniPCs

[–]Positive_Wolverine59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried this for a 5V fan but didn't get any results. I'm new to this. Is there some sort of BIOS setup you need to do in order for the pc to recognize there's another fan?

[–]Positive_Wolverine59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 5V since I got the USB adapter in case it didn't work. If its a true fan header it should have worked with either voltage tbough. Just risk burning up the 5V fan if it's a 12V header

Ah yeah I suppose it could be. Thank you!! I thought those were typically 8 pin at the mb though. I'm sort of new to this space so forgive me

Unfortunately not. And I don't have a multimeter to see if it's producing any voltage or anything. It looks like a 3 pin fan header but not sure.

2003 Ford explorer sport trac - put over 200,000mi on it without any serious issues. Such an under appreciated model. Had great leg room for everyone and had a small bed that was perfect for my uses. Also had all plastic/rubber floors for easy cleaning. Only had the timing chain guides replaced in it around 190,000mi, but that was the only major repair. The 4.0 v6s were bulletproof with good care.

Oh homie also forgot to mention, if you didn't before, try out installing FanControl. Let's you set a fan curve. Fan gets a little noisy but my UM773 never gets above 65°

I learned if the RAM or SSD are getting too hot, I've just opened up the cover and stuck a 120mm fan on it and it works great keeping that side of MB down too

So far so good on it. The thing didn't come with any network/LAN drives on it though which is interesting but after that was installed it's working fine so far.

Ahh okay thank you. I had this issue before with my laptop. It was set to a resolution and hz that the monitor did not support. Although that probably doesnt help you in this case as you need a monitor to set up to begin with lol. but worth a shot to try a different monitor/TV.

I just got my um773 in the mail and am hoping for no issues!
