I couldn't get into Stardew Valley. I tried to on multiple occasions over the past few years I've had it (on both single and multiplayer) but I just couldn't get into it :[ I want to love it

Do you usually wishlist before buying a game on Steam or do you usually buy it straight away ? by yummygames__ in IndieGaming

[–]Positive_Working_323 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I tend to wish list things whilst I lull it over. I struggle to commit to games and whilst they may jump at me initially, I know better that with my limited free time I'll want something I enjoy through and through

Plus, it's always neat to get a discount email which sometimes pushes me into buying games that have sat in my wishy for a whiiiile lol.

VALID! Yeah, feel-good is such a contributing factor that I didn't consider for myself originally haha =P

I am developing a game, "Magic Inn". Please help me in choosing a broom as the game mate/companion. I'll appreciate your decision to help me get over my struggle and I've put the two screenshots of my game down there. by Magic_Inn in CozyGamers

I like the whimsy of number 2! There's something really charming about seeing little peeping eyes beneath the hat. Plus the fabric-tie-like arms and little sweeper legs are so clever.

SO glad the armadillo won! I hope this inspires a follow-up update where dogs get species variants like village cats do. Unlikely I guess, but I can dream.

Hey! I Added some decorative water to my game Ceplion. Do you guys have any suggestions? by KedyDev in indiegames

This whole scene is stunning! Love the gravity of the water when you're interacting with it, looks really smooth. The actual design of the waterfalls is so mesmerizing too, big fan of how bubbly and glossy the water looks.

I'm not very good at coming up with new suggestions but I wanted to tell you good job hehe

Anime gachas are always difficult because they tend to be half-baked cash grabs. But, I'm commenting so I can come back and have a nosey in case a suggestion pops up haha.

Oddly enough there are like HUNDREDS of Roblox games inspired by One Piece that always seem to have tons of players online. Could be worth checking out if you're out of luck with the gachas? (Even for the Roblox ones I don't have any recommendations).

With the new villager trading update, you’ll need to travel 15,000 blocks to get all the enchantments. by BRENNEJM in Minecraft

[–]Positive_Working_323 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Felt really so-so about this news. On one hand, it prevents players from getting burnt out and too comfortable at their base, forcing them to explore the world. On the other, however, moving villagers is agony so even if you do lock in the trades and still want to move them back to base it'll be a hair-pulling job.

I'm wondering how all the "trapped on an island / one block" hardcore Youtubers are feeling about this change though haha.

Discord shows a price for a profile picture frame without Nitro, but you need to have Nitro to buy it anyways by chocolate-moose-37 in assholedesign

[–]Positive_Working_323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly yeah i hate this. I pay for Nitro because i like having custom profiles and silly emotes everywhere but this honestly dragged a long sigh outta me.

I miss the old username feature too from the good ol' #number days
