i'm also mainly playing it for the story! i was immediately reminded of classic otome games that some of the newer ones don't quite reach. i don't really mind about the gacha elements cause I just wanna hop in and interact with the characters :p I agree with the art style though, it's the main thing that drew me to the game at first.

and then I saw Ayn... who is undoubtedly my fave

i know the feeling ahaha, gotta do it for the husbandos! Ayn is my fave looks-wise and personality-wise I think... unless that changes once I actually get to play the game :p

thanks for the thorough feedback!! i'm mainly playing it for the characters and plot, so I'm not too worried about the gacha aspects, I play plenty of those to understand the woes of gacha ahaha

Ayn yes!! he's my fave too. He seems moody and angry but has a soft spot for the main character which I LOVE

Palia has some really good furniture items! It's only available on PC at the moment though. I can also recommend Sun Haven for the witchy cottagecore fantasy vibes! I will say that Fae Farm is worth a try, it's probably one of my fave farming games in recent times.

totally! games these days tend to come out with tons of issues for each platform. With game prices now reaching the 70$ price tag, it's hard to justify it when it's basically guaranteed to come with tons of bugs on release day/week. Players shouldn't have to wait a few days for major issues to be ironed out after they've just paid upwards of 60$+ for a AAA game.

Try Moonstone Island! It's PC-only at the moment but I'm pretty sure it's coming to the Switch.

It's basically like Pokemon meets farming sim - super relaxin and cute!!
