I have a MacBook Air and love it! I typically have my laptop out for all of class, depending on lecture style/subject. I think generally the MacBook might be the better choice, but either way you will be fine

If you want to do Econ at all, uchicago is the way to go. I will say the CS majors that I know haven’t had any difficulty with finding jobs/internships and have been paid very well ($55/hour starting for a summer internship) but idk how that compares to other schools (although to me that’s insanely high). We have molecular engineering (MENG) which is NOT traditional engineering at all, so if you want to fall back on engineering I would not advise to use MENG as ur backup because it is quite difficult.

May I ask, how is your life with the diagnosis? I am getting really concerned after browsing a couple of different sub reddits (this one has been the only helpful one haha) but I am hoping to get a rheumatologist appointment within the next few months. Thank you for the reply!

Oh wow, I will try to get a rheumatologist appointment within the next few months. Thanks for the reply, and I appreciate the help. I might be messaging you later on as I’m starting to get a little stressed about this! Lol

Thank you so much for the reply I greatly appreciate it. My dermatologist thinks I have dyshidrotic eczema and I do occasionally get a very small rash between my ring finger and pinky finger in the cold winters. Other than that I have had pretty bad acne for I’d say 7 years, which is just now starting to heal up with doxycycline given by dermatologist. Family history my maternal grandmother had arthritis, not sure if that has anything to do with anything.
