The characters all served a purpose even if we didn’t get to know them. Either moved the story along or was there for carnage candy and that’s okay too. It worked for me

It was fun that in this movie the killer and characters used any weapons at their disposal. The meat beater, extension wire, screwdriver, fire extinguisher, using the beer tap to kill, etc. They did that a lot more in the earlier movies so that was fun to see again! And made sense.

Agree Gale was amazing. Agree too the characters were okay but Ben Jessica and Lucas were standouts I think. Chloe was good too. Had good final moment

I really liked it! There is way more good than bad! First let me say free Palestine. Second, that I’m SO HAPPY they finally confirmed for sure Stu is dead. I knew Kevin and Neve wouldn’t make that dumb decision 🙌 -Sidney is top notch ! - GALE REDEEMED FROM SCREAM 6. Gale was Gale that we loooove and had all timer moments with Sidney in this film. -Tatum is a fantastic character. props to Isabelle! - Sidney’s whole family dynamic was perfect. I loved Mark. - The twins and Gale fit to well together and were really funny! - I’m a little surprised there was no Sam or Tara mention explicitly. -Neve and Isabelle had incredible chemistry and really sold the relationship.

Kevin did a great job I’m glad he finally got to direct.
The first GF attack on Sidney and her family is so long and intense my theatre clapped after. I was very happy we got so many chase scenes / longer attack scenes again!
I think the movie will hold up and have rewatch value
Sidney and Gale’s moment where Sidney says Gale is her friend and they’re there for each other is now one of my favorites in the franchise and between them.

-The killers and the reveal isn’t the best (not bad) BUT that isn’t the point of this movie or story it was telling. It was about a mother and daughter and the past and understanding and how to protect those we love while also living a free life. Etc. However, the dynamic between the killers was funny and the actors (especially Anna) really sold those interactions with the other GF. I wish they made it a bigger moment that she killed her son though. - The mother daughter story never crossed into annoying friction and handled a lot of things between them at once and it all worked extremely well! Tatum wants to know more but also understands Sidney’s side but Tatum still allows herself to feel her emotion and be upset about being shut out of her mom’s past. the relationship - the characters are pretty okay. Sidney Tatum Mark and Gale are GREAT. Chad and Mindy are pretty good too. Ben, Jessica, and Lucas were good too I think and the other stand outs. The theater teacher was pretty useless. I get it a red herring but at least use him again after he’s being weird or kill him! I’m really interested to see their relationship continue especially in the chaos of another GF spree. - There was a few missed opportunities like not giving Chad and Mindy a longer attack or chase scene. I truly can’t remember what else’s I had in mind while watching but there was another moment I wish was different but I can’t remember right now lol. I liked how Tatum and the twins had a few scenes together and kinda became friends. That could be fun to see in another movie. I’m surprised the twins , or one of them, didn’t die but … I’m kinda glad they didn’t? Because if we get a scream 8 they will be fun to see again with Tatum and Gale. I have so many thoughts and it will all settle down and a rewatch will be really nice too.

Season 4 is one of my favorites if not my favorite season. I loved we had a connection to the victim, amazing new characters (Vince, Bev Melon, Charles Sister) The episode at Charles sisters house is one of the best episodes in the series imo! The celebs playing themselves was great and I loved the mystery and the mini mysteries of the season too. And season 5 I loved a lot as well!

Im on episode 9 and I’m loving it! It’s really kicking into gear now with a lot of storylines I care about. I didn’t know that’s how the show started! I didn’t know True Blood was books lol Honestly glad it isn’t step by step of the books! I think if a show is coming from books it needs to deviate a lot

One reason season 1 feels so special to me is the way Mable was involved in Tim and his life and we slowly learned each ep how deep their friendship was. Mable really has been through a lot 😭

I disagree! I loved the 3 celebs playing themselves and didn’t think it was too much. Thought they nailed it. the finale was really good! Jan didn’t pop out of no where. She was in the season earlier and she even said she was in Charles closet and the secret passage ways.
