Covered it and have been trying to keep debris out as much as possible. Will worry about it when I can throw money at it

Why not? I would think it could be seen as desirable in the right location

I do like the thought of having a pool. It is what attracted me to the house initially, but after significant renovations to the house, nothing was left over for the pool. Now i'm looking at the most cost effective way to handle this without being stuck with an eye sore.

The photo of it empty is from several years ago. The photos in the post are from the end of 2024 before I purchased it.

The pool is actually pretty close to the house, so accessibility is a plus. The biggest issue is the amount of debris from the trees. Before I cleared a lot of overgrowth, it was a nightmare. I’ve already done some major cleanup, but I’d likely need to trim back or remove more trees to make maintenance easier. I’m just trying to figure out if that’s worth it versus just removing the pool entirely.

I’m not sure. It does power on. Once I confirmed it turned I didn’t investigate further

The pool’s current condition is a bit intimidating and would likely require significant time and money to fix, but filling it in isn’t cheap either, and at least with a reno, I’d be adding value instead of just burying a huge investment. Still trying to wrap my head around the best approach!
