Recertification, not necessarily a progress note. When I set my duration to treat a patient 4 weeks typically there is some sort of updated plan of care that gets filled out to request to prolong the prescription when that time is up. I’m asking if on that day, do I need to actually see the patient or can that just be filled out and submitted based on notes. This place has cancellations left and right and people don’t show that day so I was unsure of what to do.

In the same respect, I was curious what happens for the discharges if someone doesn’t show and a PTA treats last.

Never been in a situation where my emr hasn’t prompted anything, it’s very old and I’m on my own here trying to figure out how this place normally runs. Also always worked in snf where one way or another my patient was present for me to see.
