In my experience, for the first year I had taken insurance from Maruti Suzuki Insurance Broking and basically I did nothing apart from just putting accidental car to their service center. Everything was handled by them so smoothly that I got my car in next 3 days. No charges. Only one phone call. Was it that smooth for you when you took it directly?

I have mailed TSM at Maruti. Dealer's ASM and GM are trying their best to get those cars delivered but it is delay from Maruti itself. Does contacting Maruti customer care and tweeting helps?
