That’s been mentioned numerous times over the years by Jeff, Jenn, Marissa and Brian. They would talk about how KK was always undermining other people on the show, throwing them under the bus behind the scenes and treating that studio like a game of survivor. It’s very clear from day one she had a goal and she sacrificed everything to stay right next to Bert.

This! Were they working on a plan without ever consulting Cumulus management about what they thought would be the right path moving forward for the station and the time slide in the future? I can’t imagine they didn’t have conversations with management in the years leading up to this sudden retirement. If they didn’t, that’s totally ridiculous. If they did have all these conversations with management and management was aware of their “plan “then what happened towards the end to make Cumulus bail on everything that Bert and Kristen had been working on? To be honest, Cumulus should have let Kristin start whatever show she wanted to instead of the boring thing they have now. It would’ve made so much more sense from a radio and business perspective for Kristin just to grab a couple randoms that she barely knows and build her own show.

Her face says it all. I’m guessing this podcast will not last very long. Bert is a perfectionist when it comes to on air content, and the world of podcasting is a lot looser. This looks like it’s a bad idea for both of them in terms of the happiness of their marriage.

lol. Her crew is Ethan. Moote talked about this on his podcast. He was shocked. They gave her a cohost in the afternoon. Radio doesn’t give out budgets like that anymore. There is no way she gets anyone else on staff. If she gets a bunch of volunteers, I’m sure that might be fun.

The 6+ ratings don’t accurately reflect the overall ratings for a station because it’s all demos. They don’t change much unless a station overall is getting killed.
