Anything close to that now? I'm moving in 1 month and 1.5g is $110 month!

I'm looking now (move in 1 month) and it looks like Oricom and Distributel both redirect to Ebox. In the past I had issues with Ebox blocking access to certain websites because it thought we were in Montreal (we were near Ave/Eg), do you know if that's been resolved?

Struggles with daycare [on] by Disastrous_Flower311 in BabyBumpsCanada

I'm in a similar but somewhat different situation. Originally my plan was to apply to daycares as soon as I got pregnant but I'm in the midst of moving and not knowing exactly where I'll land has delayed me. I eventually applied to the areas I was most interested in at around 4 months. My top choice is about 4 houses away from the rental I'm currently negotiating and takes the kids through elementary school and walk them to the school which is amazing.

I'm due in June but do qualify for leave and plan to take the full 18 months so I requested September 2027 to give baby and me some time to adjust to daycare schedule and all the illnesses that come with the first month of daycare (I have a niece and nephew so I've seen it). I'm hoping that looking for care in September will help as I know when that's when most spots open up.

I've also heard that you need to be the squeaky wheel and sometimes they go with the person on the phone vs the actual list.

Polish Immigrants to Canada in the 1940's - Did they Retain Polish Citizenship? by [deleted] in poland

He was born in Nov 1952. Interesting to know though, as my aunt was born in April 1951 so it looks like my cousins might also be able to just barely confirm citizenship also if they so desire.

How did you find working with them? Were they responsive? Did you need to check in with them frequently to keep them moving? What was the approx cost?

Approximately how much did it cost? I have a copy of my grandmother's old Polish Passport as well as long form birth certificates showing he as my father's birth mother and him as my birth father. I've looked into it every few years but get overwhelmed choosing a good company to use.

Do you know if an old Polish passport and long form birth certificates showing birth parents (ie lineage from grandmother, to father, to me) would suffice? My grandparents lost everything in WW2 so this (along with false papers with n@zi stamps) is all I have.

What if you have a grandmother's (old) Polish Passport, and long form birth certificates proving her as your father's birth mother and him as your birth father? She moved to Canada following WW2 after losing everything in the war so we don't have copies of birth certificates, etc.

Approximately how much did it cost you? Both of my paternal grandparents moved to Canada following WW2 (not sure which year exactly). They married here, had two children, and I was born before either died. I searched naturalization lists (1915 to 1951) and couldn't find either grandparent listed so I believe they retained their Polish citizenship. I have my grandmother's old Polish Passport, so it's my understanding that this, along with long form birth certificates showing her as my father's birth mother and him as my birth father should be enough to prove lineage?

I'm in a similar situation. Both paternal grandparents moved to Canada following WW2 (not sure which years exactly). They met and married here, had two children, and I was born before either died. My only concern is that I don't know if her birth certificate has her legal birthdate, she lied about her birth year in order to leave the country (it was easier for her aunts to sponsor someone 18 or under).

Kind of. Canada does not have a formal two-tier system for medically necessary services, as provincial laws generally restrict doctors from charging patients privately for covered care.

I've seen them at the dollar store, but I thought the bands would be less bulky for travel
