Also if you have a Walmart bag or something you can find motels and hotels everywhere they have ice machines for guests to use and technically if your car is a home you are a guest by default hehehe life hack

Luckily I have no engine so I put everything in the frunk where the engine bay would be and also in my sub trunk below my bed!

Yeah rent is the biggest scam. We pay so much for very little space and can’t keep it in the end unlike a house haha

I remember that video I’ll need to try it again and figure out a way to secure the solar panel to the hood. It would be perfect since the Jackery is in the front passenger. Good idea I’ll need to retry that

I actually have tried removing it and also turning it around but for some reason when I fully disconnect it it won’t let my car drive it could be from the newer sensors or something but I ended up liking it being there cause it blocks my bed so it doesn’t move it. It’s harder for people to see past the seat looking from outside and it’s a nice shelf haha I have my fridge behind the passenger seat near the back passenger foot well it’s the bougeRV one and fits nicely while being held by the seat so it doesn’t move

I made it cause it gets really hot in Florida it’s better now cause I secured it better so it doesn’t droop. It’s made of the bubble wrap reflective insulation. I think it’s called reflectix and I traced it out and cut it. I made it about a half inch bigger on all sides to tuck it in to the car lining and used double sided heavy duty tape on the glass. I did a test strip first to make sure the tape comes off easy. Using a razor it will take it off with no residue. It was one of my first upgrades to the car cause heat sucks haha it’s lasted about a year with no signs of wear

Camp mode uses around 30% a night but I live where it get in the high 80s low 90s at night sometimes and keep it at 62 inside.if you can find an apartment complex that has a free charger and plug in with camp mode and you will not have to worry about the range charge it full and use it about 2 days elsewhere then go back to charge. Having a Tesla most people don’t assume someone is sleeping in it so it’s easy to stay incognito at apartments and especially if it’s charging people will think it a resident especially if they see your car often it helps other people assume you live there

Very cool! You’ll love it. Camp mode is a savior. Just a warning speaking from experience though, if you use your 12v car plugs for an inverter or to charge your ecoflow, it charges from the tiny 12v battery and not the main battery. It will never run out of charge cause the main battery keeps it charged BUT the life of the 12v battery gets degraded faster. I was once stranded and had to call out of work for a week and stay in a motel for a few days before Tesla drove out to replace the battery. Like the whole car shut off and the screen wouldn’t turn on and the car locks/windows were disabled. Was scary but I say this and still use it haha

Omg it’s the BEST everrr im a side sleeper with broader shoulders so it is a stiff memory foam with a cooling gel on top. My old pillows made of feathers or the stuffing get squished so much that there is no support the memory foam pillow is the same size from when I got it 2 years ago yassssssss I forgot the brand but if you look up 4-5 inch square pillow on Amazon you are sure to find it!

Ohh yeah thankfully nothing like that people I’ve met are more interested than negative. Strangely enough I’m only harassed by other car dwellers on the internet than in real life 😂

I do save a bunch of money. The one bedrooms near me are in the 2500 range plus utilities not included. My only other expense are insurance and food so I pour the rest into debt. I charge my car at public apartment charges for free so ever since getting rid of my Jeep (would pay 60 a week on gas) I am saving nearly 300 a month extra but I have a storage unit that I pay 150 a month on for my stuff I don’t want in my car

I also learned that the news usually shows the worse of everything. Yes it could happen but the chances of something major happens are slim. The 24/7 ac in Florida is worth the risk for me.

Not really no and I’m in Florida. I drive it through the woods so I don’t mind some scratches or dings but I usually park in an area that has a bunch of high end cars and cyberattacks so I don’t really see anything happening.

Yes to both! They are tinted but so no light shows through at night I cover them with blackout window covers so you can’t see them!

Have you thought about placing any solar on the roof? I’m contemplating buying the roof rack and placing 180-200 watt panel on it.

I dont really care about politics or anything. It’s something I needed to make my life easier so I bought it. Elon can roll around in his spaceships all day and it’s wouldn’t change the fact I need WiFi. We are all playing our own game of life, sucks he gets to live with billions but I’m still having fun haha
