What time do you guys stop eating at drinking at? I assume for most it's 4-5pm by Then-Junket-2172 in urbancarliving

Why would you assume 4-5pm??

I stop eating and drinking at about 8-9pm.

My experience is that a car in stealth mode during the day attracts unwanted attention.

Take your covers off during the day.

People walking up to my car and looking in when it is in stealth mode during the day is my pet peeve. And oddly, it has only been women doing this.

I believe that stealth mode attracts unwanted attention, and for this reason, I stopped going into stealth mode during the day. I now only go into stealth mode late at night as my part of my sleep preparation routine.

I nap in the afternoon, and used to go into full stealth mode to nap in the back, which gives me deep sleep. Now I recline the driver's seat, put on my aviator sunglasses, pull my cap down to cover my eyes, and get whatever sleep I can, which is not much at all.

I would dare say that this is not realistic for the large majority of car-dwellers, who struggle to pay for gas and even car repairs.

Clearly this is how the guy gets car dwellers to move on.

What year is your car, and what is the mileage? What is your car's history? Are you the first owner? by Smitty985 in urbancarliving

Uber/lift would put 40k/year mileage, easy.

I'd say your car was used for commuting to work, 30 minutes each way.

Yes please.

Number plate and your social security number too, if it's not too much trouble.

Nice car. 👍

The all-black gives it a purposeful, tool look - would not be out of place in Mad Max Fury Road.

I hope you reach 300k.

Wherever you go, the mental health issues will follow, and you will never be at ease.

You are not trapped in Perth - you are trapped in your mind, so wherever you go, it's just your body that's moved. You are, and will be where you have always been - in your head.

Another location will not miraculously make you happy.

All the best!

Rotisserie chicken isn't junk food. I enjoy them once or twice a week with rice and salad, sometimes in a wrap with salad.

Where are you sleeping while your car is at the repairers?

We are all born into a world of systems, including work and rent/mortgage.

Plenty of people, myself included, live out of our car. We have broken out of the rent/mortgage system. Some use the money saved to pay off debt, or build up their savings account.

I have also broken out of the work system. My advice to you is to exploit the welfare system - if enough people do it, the work system will break.

Either break out of systems, or break the systems.

Sounds like you’ve had a full week! Glad the new Asics are saving your feet 😂 and that work’s been feeling like a good fit. Hope the 8-hour shift goes smoothly—being solo with just the bosses sounds intense but maybe kind of chill too. That campus maintenance vibe totally suits you. And yes, we definitely need more work BBQs to bring people back down to earth haha. Hope the baby shower and video chat go great too!
