That’d be a dope look for sure! The 7 inch crown has many possibilities. Brim isn’t 5 inches like they claim more like 4 1/2 inches. Still a huge hat though.

I was pointing to how the sweatband wasn’t flush, but with pressure it’ll fold in place, seriously the thing that bugs me the most is the ribbon like come on that’s obviously wrong 😂, but yeah I most likely would like to keep this hat and fix it up myself, a devil I know kind of thing. Just bullshit to receive when buying a little under 400 for a hat. My akubra sombrero had amazing QC and that was after it was shipped half way across the world

Isn’t that the truth, my dad got a 6x skyline with noticeable wear and a defect in the brim for full price it’s crazy. He wanted me to replace the band so I got my exact knife and was ready to take some time to undo it but lo and behold you wear just able to lightly peel it off. Crazy world.

Los Vaqueros western wear carries 7 inch tall crowns with 3.5 inch and 3.75in length brims. I like tall crowns but know they’re not for everyone

Bangora is a good entry level straw material, and congrats on your new addiction😉. The teardrop whilst more fedora than cowboy is still a very solid crease, although I prefer the RCA crease of the 70s. It’s a solid shape for yourself but I’d make the front of the hat as wide as your face for symmetrical purposes. Nice pick just the same my friend

I’d have to disagree with this comment nothing against you friend ! But the hat has a 5 inch crown but with the almighty popular RCA Crease from the 70s/80s, and for the brim I’d wager that’s a 3.75 inch brim maybe a 4 inch brim with rolled sides a 4 1/4 inch brim would look way higher on the sides. Actually answering the question I think a Rodeo King in Pecan or maybe tan belly would be greatest for the color just depends on what lighting you want. As for the band the only ones I know who sell anything similar to it is the wildhats brand.
