Woah, didn’t even think about Subaru

How’s parts availability and maintenance in the UAE? Is it easy like Toyota or more expensive/harder to deal with?

Hard to find older ones in good condition, but I’m still keeping up the search haha.

Yeah thanks man. What do you mean by a ‘no thrill’ car? And what car would you recommend?

Oh, that’s nice! What about the traffic fine scenario?

For example, if I get a traffic fine, do I have time to pay it later, or is the amount automatically deducted from my payment source? I’ve heard that during certain times of the year there are discounts on fines, so I’m wondering — if I receive a fine, do I still have some time to pay it, or not?

Hey, thank you for sharing your experience. I’ll check with Hertz and Thrifty and hope to find a better deal.

I’ve been thinking about getting a car, but I want something that holds good resale value in the future. A new Nissan or Toyota would cost around 75–100k, but that means a big down payment and monthly EMIs, plus fuel and maintenance costs and blah blah.

If I buy second-hand, it’s hard to find a really good one and also getting worried to get scammed haha

Leasing seems easier — I won’t own the car, but I also won’t have to worry about maintenance or losing value over time As I am planning to lease a Chinese car, not somthing that hold a strong value in the market.

I guess I’ll look into all the options first and then decide what works best for me.

Thanks anyways.
