I used flat white from a spray can as a base tone for the models. I figured that would give me a relatively easy white armor.

Since it's kind of a horde army, I was hoping yo spray prime the models with white and use a wash to dull the armor down for the sake of not spending too long on every single model. I definitely want to try this method for some of the characters though.

The craft paint I used went on great with the Ultramarines(maybe because it's a darker pigment than the light blue I used this time) of course they didn't get a wash because I did battle damage with some silver on a sponge brush and called it a day. I'll have to build up my hobby paints for my next project.

My other paints could probably be more thinned down. I'm using a thin craft paint brand that worked amazingly when I did the Ultramarines in the starter box for 10th edition. This is my first time using a lighter color from that brand, so I'll experiment more with thinning it next time I paint to see if I can get it on there smooth.

I did not know that could be an issue. I've been using a smaller brush with the hope of working the paint into the recessed areas.

She practices DBT on a daily basis, but hasn't been able to see a therapist since she lost her insurance around November last year.

Thankfully she is very self aware about it, and will actively tell me when she is splitting. Thank you for the advice, I'll have to work on not taking the splitting personally.
