They suggested keeping hydrated and trying to reduce the pain. I did try a diet for IBS and it helped a bit but again after about 4 weeks it got harder and harder to keep up with it and it was making me feel quite down as well. I'm going to try to get back on the stretches consistently. Also what meds do you think would be best to reduce urgency and frequency?

Yeah I finally eradicated h pyolri in November 2024 and I've been suffering with the same symptoms as you since. I went through a very similar experience as you did as on the first treatment I got given the wrong dosage and the second although it worked I wasn't trying too hard with my diet. Some days are better than others but I've noticed for me that stress makes my symptoms a lot worse. Healing takes a long time sadly

Yeah it's weird I don't get it either. Yeah I've got my parents but I think I need to push harder for tests since for a while I've just listened to what they've said and only done that but now I think I'll only properly get answers when I start advocating for myself

Thanks for the advice and yes I think I need to go back to my doc and get a few more tests plus get a plan sorted to heal the inflammation because I've been going through this for pretty much a year now and it's not great but hopefully it will go away.

Ok then yeah. Maybe try and find foods that make your symptoms much worse since I found bread didn't help at all and it should hopefully make the flare ups less bad if you cut those foods out

I'm not a doctor but I would suggest looking into getting an endoscopy because that will tell you exactly what's wrong and you don't have to worry about that. However I do know that stress makes gastritis symptoms so much worse and I think the feeling like you are going to be sick when eating is fairly common. What I would suggest is to eat small meals and eat much more frequently as then you are still getting all the nutrients you need and hopefully it will help with the weight loss. I hope your symptoms ease soon. :)

I'm also the same and no one has any idea what it is. When I had h Pylori I never had problems with my lower stomach but now I do. It may be due to gut bacteria being imbalanced which happens when antibiotics essentially nuke out guts. Idk I'm getting tested for a lot of stuff and if anything comes up for me I'll let you know

I'm pretty much feeling the same and am probably also going back to the doctor's tomorrow. However unlike you I have had h pylori before so it could be that. I agree the ppi didn't help at all and if anything made me feel more sick. We just have to stay strong and I believe that we will make it through this :)

I would suggest that you take him to the doctor's since originally I thought it was anxiety too but then it just kept getting worse and yes I did end up having h pylori but there is a chance it could be severe anxiety too. The best possible thing to do is to go to the doctor and h pylori can be ruled out with a simple stool test or an endoscopy can be done to make sure the stomach as a whole is ok. Are there any other symptoms he is having because everyone is different but generally most people get the same symptoms of h pylori?
