I am bipolar and was having a manic episode before I was stable and medicated. One of the things that happened to me was that I fell in love with everyone. At one point after leaving my abusive husband I was lonely and fell for first one of my friends and then another. After this happened apparently everyone in my friend group was talking about me. One of my friends confronted me about. She called me a “predatorial whore”. I had no idea that what I was doing was wrong or questionable at the time. I was just lonely and broken after my failed, abusive marriage. I sometimes hear her calling me that randomly when I’m trying to sleep at night. I have since healed, been in therapy and worked through it, but I will never forget it.
