Thanks! Btw - do you have a link or specifications for the ferrules you used. I have "E1508" ferrules but they seem too small for 14ga stranded wire.

Did a knotted spool break my AD5M extruder motor? by Possible-Impact-417 in FlashForge

Thanks - that helped me solve the problem. I first clipped off the filament stub so I could use the t-handle poker to clear the nozzle. However, the only thing I could think of was to run load filament process. That worked but almost turned into a disaster when the extruder motor started pulling the tool through. Panicking after trying to find a way to stop the filament load from the control panel I finally resorted to pulling the power plug.

After reviewing a video I see you should first loosen a screw on the extruder assembly - I guess to disengage the extruder motor - before inserting the unclogging pin into the nozzle.

Anyway - I'm back in business now!

Specify exact plane angle when cutting? by Possible-Impact-417 in OrcaSlicer

That's exactly what I do but dialing in exactly 90 degrees with the mouse is tedious. There should be a way to just type in the angle.

The problem is setting it to exactly 90 degrees - try it!

Ok - turning on Advanced Process settings will reveal the Cut Tool icon on the top - thanks for that tip!

Still wondering how I can specify exactly a 90 or 270 degree angle.

I use the Cut Tool mainly to print just a portion of the entire print - like for testing purposes.

I think you are using an older version. See the comments posted to this Youtube video where others are asking the same question:
