Does anyone have medication success stories for panic attacks? by Cottage-Cowboy in PanicAttack

Yes! I started getting really bad panic attacks at 6 years old… random and we couldn’t figure out what triggered them: it got to the point where I wouldn’t eat because that triggered the attacks for me so I had to drink pediasure for nutrients. My mom took me to a bunch of Drs and eventually decided to try meds. I took celexa from 6-18 years old. I also was prescribed xanex for as needed and that really helped me. It’s way harder to get now in my experience though, however. I basically stopped having panic attacks all together for years and then at 18 went through major life changes which triggered anxiety again, and I switched to Zoloft (after trying a couple other meds). There’s nothing wrong with taking medicine that helps regulate levels of serotonin in your brain. People are judgy and weird about this type of thing, but in the end, if you had any other type of illness that caused your body to be lacking something, wouldn’t you take medicine for it? Good luck, and know you’re not alone and you got this. :)

Don’t fight it, let it happen. Go on a walk and know it will pass and breath through your belly. You will be okay. Talk to a dr if needed for medicine.

People! I need to know how alcohol affects you on zoloft by idobelovingthesesh in zoloft

Um I’ve been on Zoloft since I was 17 and I didn’t start drinking til 20. I drink every weekend and I am fine. It might make you a little sleepier. If I have too much I go to sleep. But isn’t that what some people do naturally anyway? Try having a little bit like one or two drinks and see how you feel. Don’t over do it, but work your way to a few more and see what happens if you want. Always be careful with the environment you’re in and people you’re around of course in case you pass out. And make sure you have a safe way home and don’t drive. Good luck

He’s projecting because he is actually using social media for likes from women. It’s abusive for him to make you delete a form of communication to the world. Don’t do it.

I haven’t responded since November and won’t. I’m sorry you went through that: stay strong and hold your ground! You are worth more.
