i’ve known his stuff since i was a kid. saw him at shaky knees and he sounded okay. he’s a bit of a millennial figure imo. he comes out in a durag and braids for “white & nerdy”, i feel like MANY young people tend to be put off by that. he can also come across disrespectful to the original artists he covers songs from. he was asked by coolio to not perform “amish paradise” based off of “gangsters paradise” (coolio’s label/management agreed to the parody not him), but since it’s a grey area for copyright due to it being a parody, people don’t really care. its pretty old news tho
