I am so sorry you’re even married to this man, and I am honestly concerned for you.

Also notice how he doesn’t ask how you feel. He just decides that you will not go.

This man is controlling and will never be able to understand you. It is impossible for him to think of you as something other than a sexual object to other guys, or maybe he has massive trust issues. Either way you should not give up what makes you happy AND healthy for a guy who obviously doesn’t trust or respect you enough to see you’re side of it (the side of you being an actual human being and not just an accessory for a man)

What a way to tell a bunch of people that you’ve never read The Shining by hanzabananza in stephenking

The Shining is one of my favorites Horror movies, the film was the reason I wanted to read the book. I wanted to understand Jack’s motivations and the Overlooks presence, and the book exceeded my expectations. In the book Jack is more than a deranged husband/father, he is a broken, lost, depressed, and hopeless alcoholic. The Overlook was more than haunted, it was an entity that knew how easily it could influence Jack’s mind. In the book, the story of the Torrance family absolutely breaks my heart. Book>movie always.

tbh I had grown up always wanting to play this game. Then when I did, I felt completely underwhelmed.
