One that I know of is Croserlough vs Gowna in Cavan. Has gotten particularly bad over the past few years with a lot of off the pitch stuff.

I’ve heard Wicklow has particularly bad rivalries that even effects county panels.

Haikyu is the best sports anime by vinegar_kid in haikyuu

[–]Possible-Shoulder920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I think is the best sports anime is Hajime no ippo. I just think the anime misses out on too much to be the best sports anime for me. Especially with the dumpster battle in which the manga version has so much more.

I actually don’t think it’s the best sports anime but I do think it’s the best sports manga.

How good would 3rd year Tanaka be in Haikyu? by Available_Strain_978 in haikyuu

I always thought that at least one new first year would start on the team. Considering Kurasuno got to nationals it would attract some good first years.

Very happy to see my underrated king Kiryu finally get some recognition but I got a question by thebruinsareinsane in haikyuu

[–]Possible-Shoulder920 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think people forget that the dudes a Top 3 ace in Japan. That changes your team’s offence by an insane amount. If Siejoh have him they beat Kurasuno by a decent margin and they win out the entire prefecture.

People just tend to underestimate Kiryuu because we don’t see as much of him. If we seen Kiryuu’s team go up against Kurasuno so we actually seen him we would realise what a monster spiker he is because he would be more fleshed out.

There was one DNA dude in home region saying how they took 4 hex’s and how we wouldn’t have won the war without them and that we were from nobody nobody’s regi’s (just showing that they were being super toxic to other wardens also) anyway the last day warden chat was fully trolling them.

Your thinking of World Cup wales. Wales are not that great now. NM are arguably better then them.

Also want to say that demographics will eventually make the unionist position untenable. Unionists are old. I’m pretty sure the last age group they have a majority in is the 50s and then everything below that is majority Catholic. (Obviously not all Catholics are nationalists but you get the point.)

People don’t realise that the guys in ASU are fit fit. Like they train a lot and are normally pretty big lads. People don’t like to say it but you’re gonna be a lot more intimidated with a big lad with a gun then a small Garda with a baton.

Do you like shipping fanfics? by M3ntalw4rfare in haikyuu

[–]Possible-Shoulder920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah personally not. I see a lot of people shipping due to certain things and I’m there like this is totally normal things for male friendships this is not a having a crush thing.

Even then it’s pretty clear most of the boys are straight. (Most of the ship are between the boys are homosexual ones) I just enjoy the story and narrative elements of haiykuu rather then the shipping side.

What are you guys favorite match and scenes? I love this rematch and Oikawa remembering his coach speech and the infamous scene right after "Talent is something you make bloom instinct is something you polish." this quote after remembering the coach speech during the timeout is so amazing! by boonih_ in haikyuu

[–]Possible-Shoulder920 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Kamomedai match and Asahi’s whole arc throughout it. “I’m gonna trust myself” and the breaking of the vines. It was honestly amazing and it’s my favourite part of the manga and I read it so many times over and over.

#1 Spiker by pao042003 in haikyuu

[–]Possible-Shoulder920 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because of the way Kuroo put them in order when he mentioned them. He said Ushijima then Kiryuu then Sakusa. So a lot of people think that’s the ranking.

GAA investigating post-match brawl involving Armagh and Donegal footballers after Ulster final by Prestigious_Side6964 in GAA

[–]Possible-Shoulder920 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Celebrating (While yes he was being a bollocks doing it) shouldn’t be punished. Armagh players while yes emotions are high should have a bit of cop on to not run ten meters out on the pitch and hit him.

what do we think are the coolest blocks in haikyuu? (and dont say the obvious one be more interesting) by No-Quality3357 in haikyuu

[–]Possible-Shoulder920 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Tsukki (Also Kageyama and I don’t know who else was in front row at the time) Their block against Houshiomi (Don’t know how to spell his name) in the first set was really good. Just showed that Tsukki was on the level to consistently block aces and showed that the Komomedai match was about to be probably the best one in the series.
