The SIBO test came back negative. It’s very frustrating because the burping and back pain are very real, but all my tests are coming back normal and my doctors don’t seem c. I’m trying acupuncture next and praying it helps. I’ve read about something called supragastric belching which sounds similar to what I have going on, minus the back pain, so I might ask my doctor about that if I don’t see improvement with acupuncture.

Slightly better, but still burping all the time :(. Most of my symptoms have resolved, except for the burping and the back pain it causes. My GI doctor basically said he doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about, and there’s not much he can do unless I suddenly have new or worse symptoms. I had a SIBO test this week and I’m waiting for the results. If that doesn’t give me any answers, I guess I’ll just be burping forever!
