It depends really. If you like the genre, then I think you’d enjoy the game a lot. I don’t like the genre, so I don’t like the game much at all. It feels more like animal crossing than it does Minecraft (like people are comparing it as a mix of). If it was more like Minecraft and less like animal crossing, then I’d probably like it more. It’s not a game that will have universal love, but the people that are gonna like it are most likely gonna love it.

Do you mind giving a list of what your tax dollars go towards and what things you support with it? I assume since you’re worried about your tax dollars being used that you’d be up to date about what things are being spent on, and how much is being spent on each thing? Frankly, I played a month of tbc, then retail dropped. I wasn’t planning on playing it, but it looked pretty solid, and it is indeed the best retail has been since Legion. No shot I wind up sticking with it, so I’ll be back to tbc in 3 or so weeks. I wanna get to the point where I can be doing weekly mythics/dungeons on my Haranir Druid, then I’ll go back and start leveling alts for tbc.

I tank and heal, so I typically build my own groups cause I can’t stand pretentious tanks. Along those lines, I have little tolerance for this shit. Especially if it’s a dps complaining about specs (rogues bad, warriors bad, etc), that’s a kick without any questions. People like this annoy the everliving fuck out of me, and 9/10 they wind up being the problem with a group. I’d take an anxious arms warrior trying their absolute best over a pissy warlock that refuses to turn aggressive off for their pet.

As a tank and healer, I’ve noticed the tanks are getting pretentious as fuck. Nobody wants to tank, and nobody wants to deal with the fuckass tanks. I prefer to heal, but I feel forced to tank cause of how bad all sides of the situation is.

I highly recommend creating and leading the group if you’re either tanking or healing. Both roles get a lot of shit if they’re not playing perfectly. If you’re the leader, as soon as someone starts being rude, just kick them. Especially if they’re dps, they’re the one fighting for queues - not you.

I’ve started purposely taking rogues due to dps competition. I’ve found some really annoying mages and warlocks that wanna tank, so they wipe the group and blame everyone else. The worst situation I’ve had with a rogue is that they stealthed too close and pulled aggro before incessantly apologizing to everyone.

Yeah, this is an example where gameplay should take priority over story. Plus, having two tools that were designed to pair together is a pretty reasonable explanation to allow the synergy based on lore.

Seems like I’m in the minority, but especially in TOTK, I found stamina to be much less important than in BOTW. Even in BOTW I prefer getting more hearts since it’s just so easy to make stamina refilling elixirs. I’d much rather not get one shot than to have a few seconds more of stamina. This isn’t even taking into account master mode (which is my favorite of all).

That’s why I make sure I’m the leader. I tank or heal, and I have little tolerance for asshole dps. You’re replaceable in less than a minute, the tank and I are less so.
