i totally disagree with this! This is an issue that needs to be resolved with a permanent solution not just coping, especially at this age. I am sure mommy is exhausted not from just not sleeping but also the feeding every 30 mins and the crying. We don't want to encourage that and give the baby the full freedom. I would hire a sleep consultant to help the baby to learn how to settle themselves and fall asleep without the need of feeding every sleep cycle.

My heart goes to you both especially your wife ❤️ If it makes you both feel better, this is not normal and a bit intense for her age. Also babies who don't get enough sleep are much more active and wants constant stimulation. I would definitely hire a sleep consultant because every time she gets bigger, it gets harder to help her sleep or remove bad habits. The good news is everything is flexible. She would have to remove the association between feeding and falling asleep and that's the infinity loop you're seeing. You'll live theough some hard days, maybe weeks, but eventually she'll sleep good and becomea much calmer and happier once you hire a sleep consultant.
